During this visit, we will benefit from a true cultural immersion. A family belonging to the Boruca ethnic group will show us, in the context of a workshop, how the colored masks are made by hand, as well as the extraction of dyes from plants, which are used to dye the threads used to make handbags, bracelets and many other handicrafts, which are sold in the community to support their families.
In the Boruca Museum, you can learn the different legends and stories about these ethnic groups.
If time allows, we will visit Finca 6 and the Museum of the Spheres, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, in Sierpe de Osa.
Time and place of departure: private visit, please contact us to schedule.
