This waterfall is found inside the Tablas Protected Zone, we will arrive by going through the Mellizas community in Sabalito, Coto Brus. In order to arrive from San Vito, we will take route 613 about 35km (45 minutes) to the Mellizas community. The path to the waterfall is 9 kilometers long. The trip there and back is 6 hours long. At the beginning of the path there is a relatively big hill, followed by easier hills. There are some stretches that are quite technical, yet it is still suitable for people who have little hiking experience and moderate physical condition.
